It’s time again to Capture Catalina. This year, we have another great line up of workshops and classes for you to enjoy.

Gil Smith and Yamaha is center stage with Motorcycle Photography. Gil will guide you through camera and lighting techniques for studio and on-location Commercial shoots. A must for any Chrome lover!

Adam Jones will take you on a Photographic tour of Avalon. Adam will start you at the city skyline in the morning. In the afternoon, he will take you on a private shooting tour of Catalina’s most famous landmark, the Casino.

Barbara Ellison gets you up close and personal with Canon’s Macro equipment. Barbara will demonstrate how to use the Macro Flashes, Extenders and all Five Canon Macro lenses. Ask about her Fine Art printing on wood, metal and other unique surfaces.

Jerome Hamilton will be surrounded by beautiful women and men models for his swimsuit photography workshop at step beach. Learn on-location camera lighting and posing techniques.

Jim McCullaugh’s Photographic Law class covers the basic rights of photographer’s on-location or in the studio, according to United States Laws and International Law. Do you know how the Internet has changed your rights as a photographer? Spend an hour and get caught up.

Lance Folden teaches four Canon Technology classes for you each day to keep you up on all the latest equipment from Canon.

I started the workshop in 2004, as a way to thank you, the loyal customers of all independent Canon stores in California. For it is you that keeps photography as an art form alive.
